叉匙的迷思
─────
叉匙, 也可稱湯叉匙? 叉湯匙?

湯匙已經很輕了, 還要搞輕量?

因為要說服自己買了鈦湯匙,
所以除了那個"流行"理由外.
也找到一些藉口.

1.不銹鋼湯匙: 重了些, 跟鈦餐具搭配性較差(實際上我覺得刮觸感較好).
2.塑膠湯匙(ABS?): 比鈦湯匙輕, 也算耐熱, 卡通圖案也很cute, 但是不知道對人體有何影響, 另外在背包擠壓過程可能會磨損或折斷.

另外終於了解極輕化玩家提到的Spork...原來剛好就是我
自己選定的湯叉合一的餐具, 有趣.

  • 我是刻意使用平頭的湯匙，樣子就像平頭鍬......十幾年前還真是超難找！ 有種平的冰淇淋匙也行.........可是圓角的型並不好看。 現在在十元店裡就有竹片削成的啦！ 刮鍋底頂好用的。

  • misfit 兄提到的真的不錯用, 我就是採用平的竹片冰淇淋匙, 不過我是當成精簡化煎匙... 我有想過, 木頭的或竹片的應該是很棒的東西, 目前除了竹炭搭奈米的便車, 炙手可熱之外, 木頭與竹片的似乎離科技感有點距離, 另外也是要加工處理(漆塗佈), 不然發霉的機率超高的, 所以單看材質也很難說環保不環保, 衛生不衛生. 照片 http://www.keepon.com.tw/ActiveSite/Message/One.asp?MessageID=36079

Basically, it is a spoon with tines on the end, suitable for using as a fork, while still having a spoon portion. It is the utensil of choice for eating cole slaw, potato salad, and many other take-out foods. Please don't confuse sporks with woons, those wooden planks you get with ice cream and "malts" at the ballgame/fairs/etc. Woons are not sporks, and are in fact just a cheap ripoff of a spoon. 2. Where do sporks come from? (Brief History of Sporks) It would appear that the spork has a very long, and interesting history. How can I manufacture my own spork? The easiest way to make your own spork is to use a inexpensive stainless steel spoon and make three triangular-shaped cuts at the bottom of it. Be sure to sand it down, make it all nice and neat, and place them at your placesettings. 9. What is proper etiquette for sporkware? In modern society, it is important to ensure that you do not offend anyone with your spork. So please, only use sporks when the meal calls for them. Serving sporks with no suitable alternative is not acceptable when soups or sauces are a dominant portion of the meal in question. As far as placesetting with your spork, simply substitute the dinner fork with the spork, leaving the knife and the salad fork present (eat lettuce with a spork? never!). You may wish to leave the spoon present in case their are "spork-ignorant" guests. When using a spork to eat mashed potatoes out of a styrofoam container, it is common courtesy to leave a little "spork waste" at the bottom rather than scrape the styrofoam with the spork to get every last morsel. If you must have every little bit of potato, please use your finger. The use of sporks for launcing peas, mashed potatoes, or other inedibles is acceptable, as long as you pay the management of the KFC for any damages caused.   • 原來這種東西在十八世紀就有了, 而且這個字還曾是註冊商標, 1909年有編入字典中(但沒查到?!). 不過又有一說是二次大戰期間的美軍發明的, 這段就是傳奇故事了...有翻譯高手麻煩翻一下... 另外塑膠的叉匙竟然跟監獄也扯上關係...因為它僅可以 當成小孩子的槍刀劍小玩具. 叉匙照理說很好, 但是如果就單一功能來說, 可能都算是"掰咖", "掰咖湯匙"或"掰咖叉子", 管他的, 反正喝湯並不需要湯匙也可以的, 倒湯也是. 其實換個思維, 叉匙這種概念當成專利有些說不過去, 因為可以兩頭採用不同的功能也可以叫spork; 只是 想將兩種功能放在同一頭的人, 那就有趣的, 就像我們看事情的角度...

  • 越看越有意思... 沒想到"湯匙無用論"...還真存在(我不知道該網站背景如何? 請指正!) http://www.psycho-ward.org/fork/ 雖然我懷疑他說的吃優格用叉子的說法, 讓人懷疑他們無限上綱, 但是至少他還有寫出適合用湯匙的幾點. 看來東方人也來個"一雙筷子走天下"的高論... 原來餐具充滿著文化與民族的爭戰故事.

  • 真的快受不了了... ◎教人怎麼使用spork http://www.spork.org/movies/ramen.avi ◎教人怎麼使用foon(塑膠spork) http://www.spork.org/movies/foon.avi 看來我也要效仿了, 本來還打算用湯匙作叉匙的. 另一個有趣的問題: snow-peak難到沒有歷史情節? 還是用鈦叉匙去反攻? 而那群人的目的到底動機何在? 因為專利事件引發不滿? 還是小時候吃了這個怪東西的虧?

  • 這東西多年以前也曾用過...........不過最後還是放棄了。 基本上、基於個人理念：儘可能不用拋棄式裝備.....所以 1. 使用的 Spork 是金屬製的。 2. 因為【匙】的前半部成了【叉】.....又要維持舀湯的功能.... 這 Spork 就小不得........... 於是、一把夠大而堪用的 Spork 比一整組合用的【筷、叉、匙、外加保護盒】還重！！！！

  • misfit兄的想法很好... http://www.straightdope.com/mailbag/mspork.html 雖然塑膠製品也可重複使用, 端看兄台的觀念對待和如何使用? 只是, 我們對餐具重複使用仍停流在金屬製品, 這有個笑話, 外國竟然有人認為刀叉匙才是文明的餐具, 說當初天皇怕兵變, 沒收沖繩地區的叉子湯匙, 然後沖繩人就 發明了筷子(快要去跳懸崖了...) 後來美軍來了後就發明了叉匙, 夠凍抹條的... 至於那些國外高中生為何那麼討厭? 我找到些答案...因為設計的關係 http://oak.cats.ohiou.edu/~jm703496/spork/ 如果那樣平平的設計要舀湯...殺了它吧! 如果要捲麵...再殺了它吧! 但是如果這是發生在東方世界或許狀況又不太一樣. 目前賣的鈦叉匙, 經果我的比較與實驗, 安啦! 可以買...如果閒錢多趕流行, 不然就自己切割湯匙. 嚴重說明: 請大家可以質疑這句話... >>於是、一把夠大而堪用的 Spork 比一整組合用的【筷、叉、匙、外加保護盒】還重！！！！ 目前最大的Spork...差不多有一個人高的長度...挖哩咧.

  • 何必自打咧? 你不知道你說的平匙(woons或foon)就是自己所說的殘手殘腳的玩具喔? 至於舀湯功能, 個人也在前面說過, 所以也有網站推崇叉子就夠了, 但是這就像每個人的狀況與需求, 是沒有絕對答案, 對你來說是殘手殘腳; 但是國外很多UL玩家卻樂於使用, 最重要的是接觸它才會了解, 不要因為使用過那種殘手殘腳, 就以為現在還是殘手殘腳. ps.原諒我一直使用你提到的"殘手殘腳", 跟身心障礙人士說聲抱歉.

  • 你會覺得平匙殘手殘腳是因為你用的是冰淇淋匙............ 請回頭看看你 2006/02/26(日) 23:32 PO 的第三張圖..... 我的平匙只是【平頭】～肚子可不是平的....雖然我還是以碗靠嘴的喝湯比較爽....... 所以、平匙於我是刮鍋底的必備【專用】工具.....沒別的啥兒可比。

  • 咪兄: http://www.keepon.com.tw/Store/Part.asp?K4=175 其中有兩款應該是國內作的, 兩款粉像(可能算同一家工廠出產?), 一個有附收納平口袋...兩者湯杓部份都有拋光處理. 所以如果選擇可以依此參考 1.是否要進口的? 2.是否在意那幾克的重量? 3.是否一定要收納袋? 4.鈦材質或拋光處理? 目前大概就這幾款而已, 國外探討的(非背包族的)主要是速食塑膠材質, 我用了鈦spork後, 才回頭去關注那個...真的想折斷它!

  • 回到東方人的筷子... 長度: 個人以為戰鬥小筷長度應該夠個人"戰鬥"使用(相對於烹調), 長度可以用手指到掌腕間衡量. 參 http://www.keepon.com.tw/ActiveSite/Message/One.asp?MessageID=36079 材質與重量: 基本上目前有很多選擇, 木,竹,塑膠,不鏽鋼中空筷... 重量真的都很輕...原則上不要太花俏, 簡單乾靜就好, 塑膠的建議採用PP(聚丙烯), 不知道就看第五類的回收標誌, 另外有些美耐皿, 根據資料, 安全性次於PP. 其它: 收納盒, 前端溝槽設計, 或接合方式... 圖片中的接合式筷子, 子筷本身粗糙, 母筷(上端)有立體凹陷, 可以增加戰鬥力, 最重要...它可是食用級的PP(聚丙烯)材質, 可水煮消毒(耐溫140度), 重量方面, 子母筷約10克多, 但是收納小盒卻30g...如果想不開要買鈦筷...嗯! 自己決定.

  • 這PP子母筷真的不錯用,價格也還可接受. 聽說慈濟人有配發不鏽鋼子母筷,而且收起來是兩件式(伸縮). 不知那理有賣說? 另外 PP塑膠筷搭佩鈦鍋,不鏽鋼筷搭佩不鏽鋼鍋,如此是否較不傷鍋?

  • 目前五金大賣場有在販賣兩截式不鏽鋼筷子 分開長度13公分接起來大約25公分(屬嵌入式) 還附一個筷子儲存盒售價50-60元之間 早上問媽媽還有哪幾種兩截式筷子 媽媽也提到慈濟人用的筷子屬於螺紋鎖入式 售價一雙一百多塊

  • 最近發現個Spork, 看起來還不錯, 而且價格比snow peak鈦匙叉便宜多了! 是PC材質, 應該耐熱吧, 雙頭設計, 一頭是湯匙, 一頭是叉子, 叉子邊又具有 一點切東西的鋸齒狀設計, 湯匙+叉子+切刀, 三種功能! 價格是NT$80元, 雖然比不用錢的貴, 但總比snow peak的便宜多了, 且重量 又比鈦匙叉輕很多!!
